Dispute Resolution


Disputes in business are not just a nasty headache, they can be extremely costly if you are forced to go the route of engaging a traditional law firm. We can assist either party in a dispute and, if it is necessary to go to a tribunal we are able to provide you with support and legal representation through the process.

Settlement Agreements


A settlement agreement between an employer and a departing employee seals into law the terms of departure, including any financial settlement, and also defines the relationship between the parties in the future. They are most often drawn up where there has been some dispute or, for whatever reason, “things just haven’t worked out as hoped” but are also used after redundancy or to resolve a dispute situation without having to go the route of a tribunal. These agreements must be certified by a solicitor in order to become legally binding and we are able to provide that service via our sister company Tiger Law.

Our Fee Solutions


InHouse Legals are always happy to work on one-off instructions on a fixed fee.

But we also have a number of different ways that we can offer our services so that we can provide a mixed-and-matched

level of service that is just right for your requirements and budget. It all starts with a free-of-charge consultation which can

take place face to face or over the phone, as you prefer.

Pay As You Go

You decide when you need us, we fix a fee for the work you need at that point and get it done. A simple and effective way to work.

Ideal Start

Rather than clocking up hourly charges, we fix fees for each piece of work we take on and, if you need more than one document or service, we package these together and apply a discount. It works for you and it works for us.

The Retainer

If you need more regular assistance, we can agree a retainer with you. You can start at as little as half a day a month and build on it.

Tailored Support

After consultation, we set aside the agreed hours just for you, keep an eye on usage over the month and regularly review that it’s working for all of us. It's a flexible but reassuring way to know that you are legally covered.

In-house Solicitor

Our business has evolved to help you as yours does. InHouse Legals now works in tandem with our sister company Tiger Law, a fully-fledged legal firm, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in March 2017 to conduct business as a solicitor under the SRA’s Code of Conduct.

So why two companies? What’s the difference between them? Which one does what? More importantly, which one is right for you?

InHouse Legals is about Strengthening, Growth & Prevention.

iHL’s services help you secure the legal status and compliance of your business so that it is trading and employing on a legally watertight position and is not exposed to risks from the law, from regulators or from disputatious employees or those it trades with on a day-to-day basis.

You can access routine legal administration services that really don’t require the involvement of a fully qualified solicitor from InHouse at less cost than if you were to go to a traditional solicitor for them. But you still have the confidence of knowing that iHL is overseen by a qualified legal professional.


Tiger Law is more focused on Protection, Change & Cures for problems.

If you need the services of a qualified solicitor to act for you when something has gone awry, you can access Tiger’s services as needed. Tiger Law also handles more complex corporate requirements that arise as your business changes and evolves, when you are expanding, forming partnerships, drawing up shareholder agreements, acquiring premises or other businesses or making changes to any of those arrangements.

And when you are looking to protect the value of what you have built up with your business, and thinking seriously about your exit strategy or what you will pass on to your heirs then Tiger will be your destination.

Both firms have strong expertise and provide a range of specialist services in HR & Employment Law.
